We asked you at the beginning of the 2009 a simple reason for your passion for TVRs. Choices were:

111 people have kindly answered and the most popular reason seems to be “They have a special style and give me great emotions” (66% of whole answers). At the second place of our poll TVR enthusiasts give the same reason: they express the first and primordial reason for a passion as they declare “It’s love. It cannot be explained” (37%) otherwise, with a certain proud they say “They’re quite different from any other car”.
30% of TVR enthusiasts are sincere and call for an intimate way of living: “TVRs are a specific way of living my passion for cars”. It could be very interesting to know WHICH are the elements of this “way of living”. 21% think the same thing looking at the real essence of TVRs: “They don’t have ABS, ESP, TC…” and “they’re modern cars built like 50 years ago”. 21% think that actually there’s little passion from many builders (“Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, BMW: too many marketing rules”) and 15% exalt the typical English pride in building supercars (“Only English people knows how to build a REAL supercar”).
