It’s not an abused sentence if someone says that recent TVRs (we mean the Peter Wheeler’s era models) are race cars with full leather seats and air conditioning. Our hint goes towards the engines: the Speed-6 and the AJPV8 unit. These two units entirely engineered and developed by TVR factory are considered among the best ever built among sportcars for their performances.
Here’s another proof: an AJP8 engine, normally installed in the TVR Cerbera engine bay, has been installed by Raceproved laboratory on a Formula 3000 car.
If you’re still thinking that a TVR Cerbera 4.2 or 4.5 couldn’t be so exciting to drive, this is a clear demonstration of what you can expect from this apparently “gentle” GT with four seats.
