Mr. Ben Samuelson (*) will organize a special tribute to Peter Wheeler:

“A few people who’ve derived a lot of pleasure from the cars Peter built have asked if there was a way to show their final respects to him and, although the venue for the funeral itself is rather small, Peter’s wife has said that she thinks that Peter would approve of a noisy tribute along the route of his final journey.

At about 10:45 (or just after) on the morning of Thursday 18th June, Peter’s hearse will turn onto the A59 at Gisburn, and head East until it takes the turning just West of Skipton for the Crematorium. If there are any TVR owners out there who want to give their engines a blip to say goodbye, there are plenty of laybys, pubs and indeed room in the village of Gisburn itself to park up. If you can make it, I know it’d be greatly appreciated, especially by his kids”.
